Sometimes it happens that messages are classified incorrectly by the filtering system.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0false positive<\/strong>\u00a0refers to a message that was incorrectly classified as being Spam.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0false negative<\/strong>\u00a0refers to a message that was incorrectly classified as NOT being Spam.<\/p>\n

In other words,\u00a0false positive<\/strong>\u00a0messages end up in the Spam folder instead of the Inbox, while\u00a0false negative<\/strong>\u00a0messages end up in the Inbox instead of the Spam folder.<\/p>\n

We have several methods to help retrain our system so that it doesn’t make the same mistake again:<\/p>\n

1. In your configured IMAP account or in Webmail, simply drag the message from the Inbox to the Spam folder or vice-versa and keep it there at least overnight<\/li>\n
2. Retrain using the\u00a0Spam Quarantine<\/strong>\u00a0feature of the User Control Panel:<\/li>\n
3. Go to https:\/\/cp.emailarray.com<\/a><\/li>\n
4. Login using your full e-mail address ( user@domain.com ) and current password.<\/li>\n
5. Click on the\u00a0Spam Quarantine<\/strong>\u00a0icon<\/li>\n
6. Search for the Spam message by selecting the appropriate date, optionally defining a search term, and clicking on the Display<\/strong>\u00a0button<\/li>\n
7. Mark the checkbox next to the desired email and click on one following buttons: deliver and whitelist<\/strong>\u00a0the sender,\u00a0deliver only,<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0delete<\/strong><\/li>\n
8. Forward the offending message to the specific retraining address as defined by your Administrator.
